Dance Centre Kenya (DCK) is proud to present its first-ever full-length musical, Oliver, which will take place from June 9th-11th. This internationally acclaimed musical takes audiences on a wild adventure through Victorian England, following the story of young, orphaned Oliver Twist as he navigates London’s underworld of theft and violence in search of a home, a family, and most importantly, love. Based on the novel "Oliver Twist" by Charles Dickens, the book was adapted for the stage by Lionel Bart, who also composed the music and wrote the lyrics. The musical premiered

For Dance Centre Kenya’s first production of the school year, our junior company dancers will be presenting 5 performances of Aesop’s Fables at the Braeburn Gitanga Theatre: Sunday, October 9th at 1:00 PM & 4:00 PM Monday, October 10th at 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 5:00 PM This first time ever performed ballet is a learning program for everyone involved, from the youngest audience members to the choreographers creating the pieces. THE RETURN OF CINDERELLA Four years after the ballet’s Nairobi premiere, Cinderella is back with more magic and romance than ever before. With world-class sets painted by Naomi Maina and props and costumes created by Palacina Interiors, the audience will be swept away along with Cinderella herself. The Opening Night Gala will be a great date night to pull out your black tie attire, and the following matinee and early evening performances will be family events with opportunities to do backstage tours and get the principal dancers’ autographs.  Click
