Dance Centre Kenya is pleased to announce that the end of year recitals, a dance for love are ongoing. We had the Rosslyn studio show on 23rd June, at the Braeburn-Garden Estate. It is evident that Dance Center Kenya is becoming known for its spectacular performances. Our Christmas production, The Nutcracker, is now an annual feature on the Nairobi social calendar and we recently put together our fourth full-length performance. Auditions are usually held on the first week of September. This audition is for students who are in grade one and above and take a minimum of two ballet classes a week. We strongly encourage Company members to take class in at least one other discipline of dance (contemporary, musical theatre, tap, hip hop etc.). We had an exciting time at Dance Centre Kenya with students coming in for the 2018 Dance Intensive. We have come to the end of another week of workshops. We have had many students joining us. This has been an amazing time to meet and develop young talent. We have learnt quite a lot as we have taught these young ones. More importantly we have allowed ourselves to become part of these children’s lives from Monday to Friday.
