Company Auditions

Auditions are usually held on the first week of September. This audition is for students who are in grade one and above and take a minimum of two ballet classes a week. We strongly encourage Company members to take class in at least one other discipline of dance (contemporary, musical theatre, tap, hip hop etc.). The Ballet Company of DCK offers extra classes and performing opportunities to students who work hard and are determined to take they abilities to a higher level.

All female dancers are expected to wear black leotards and pink tights and hair in a bun to the audition and all company classes and rehearsals. Male dancers are to wear white t-shirts and black shorts or tights.

Company classes and rehearsals for the school year 2022/2023 will be held in Lavington Studio. We hope many of you will participate in this year’s company, but we highly encourage everyone to consider the commitment involved and be sure that you are ready to stay committed for the entire year.
