We have come to the end of another week of workshops. We have had many students joining us. This has been an amazing time to meet and develop young talent. We have learnt quite a lot as we have taught these young ones. More importantly we have allowed ourselves to become part of these children’s lives from Monday to Friday. Artist for Africa is a US based charity that seeks to provide support for African arts students, to enable them to take their craft to the next level. Since the establishment of DCK, Artists for Africa has supported many of our students, providing them with housing, school fees, dance wear, and opportunities to travel abroad and participate in international training programs. Currently, 10 of our students are training at the University of South Carolina Summer Dance Conservatory in the United States.   They have been joined by former DCK

The school term has come to a close. If you are thinking of what to do for the holiday to keep the little ones busy, stop!! DCK is offering its annual holiday workshops for 3 weeks in both July and August. The workshops will be an opportunity for the participants  to learn different dance and movement disciplines.
