DECEMBER HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS
We are very excited to begin our December workshops from Tuesday 13th December to Friday 23rd December which will be held physically at the three DCK studios (Rosslyn Riviera Mall, Hardy Post Mall and Lavington Mall) and will run from 9.30 am to 12.30 noon for everyone between 2.5 and 10 years. Dance, Gymnastics, Hip Hop/African dance, Arts & Crafts we have it all! Bring your children for 3 hours of non stop fun! For kids aged 10+ years, we have our fun Afrobeat and Hip Hop
The Nutcracker 2022
THE 6TH ANNUAL NUTCRACKER BALLET That most magical time of year is back! Dance Centre Kenya performers will be back at the Kenya National Theatre for their 6th Annual Christmas Production of the Nutcracker on the weekends of November 25th-27th and December 3rd – 4th. This Tchaïkovski classic will provide more than one hundred and fifty dance students with the opportunity to perform this more than hundred-year-old ballet performance and give the audience the opportunity to witness a spectacular event that traditionally kicks off the Holiday Season. AESOP’S FABLES
For Dance Centre Kenya’s first production of the school year, our junior company dancers will be presenting 5 performances of Aesop’s Fables at the Braeburn Gitanga Theatre: Sunday, October 9th at 1:00 PM & 4:00 PM Monday, October 10th at 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 5:00 PM This first time ever performed ballet is a learning program for everyone involved, from the youngest audience members to the choreographers creating the pieces. The entire show is only one hour long, which is just enough for the little ones in the audience

Anniversary Gala, 7 years of Dance Centre Kenya and 70 years of the Kenya National Theatre June 11th- 12th – Two and a half years after DCK was to celebrate our fifth-year anniversary, we will finally present La Bayadere’s “Kingdom of the Shades”, which will feature a 32-member corps de ballet in white tutus dancing en pointe with the unforgettable pas de trois of ladies and leading pas de deux of Nikiya and Solor.
