The Primary Ballet classes are most suitable for those who are between 5.5 and 7 years old.
Students are challenged with more technical elements compared to Pre-Primary classes.
However, the material is still taught in a playful manner that relates to the emotional
development of the children at this age. Primary Ballet can be taken either once or twice
per week.
DCK teachers follow the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, while also including other
elements to improve flexibility, coordination, strength and develop turn-out in a safe and
healthy way. If students are motivated and consistent in their training they can apply to take
a Class Award or Exam with an examiner from the Royal Academy of Dance.
